Yay I’ve finally finally finally got everything up and running~!

I’ve spent 2 days in NP trying to fix my severely crashed computer (i.e. even reformatting couldn’t save it’s sorry arse) and I’m glad the nightmare is officially over. Dell sent a dispatch guy (read: DHL) instead of a IT support staff which means both of us were clueless on how to go about fixing in my new hard disk.

Thank god he’s pretty gungho in helping me out so we found ourselves in Blk5 Co-op IT Service Helpdesk where we managed to get ourselves some professional service (BA level 6 is totally out of the question because I’m no longer a current NP student. Rats)

The entire scene was quite funny actually, a DHL guy, an IT support staff and about 10 other curious eyes. Lol. It took me close to 3 hours to finally have my OS, drivers and other mish mash programs installed

Angie♥ joined me later and we had lunch before slacking @ level 2. Headed for dinner with Sammie at Food Republic and home it was!

I’m so glad I’ve got most of my programs up and running. My favourite Seffy WindowBlinds theme is installed, Winrar back on, AVG + Ad-aware running, Sharepod plugged up and Notezilla stuck on my desktop.

The only thing left is my Microsoft Office, Adobe CS (version 4 is out, so tempted!) and getting back all my bookmarks. Yay to new hard disk, except the old one which dispatch guy took back is filled with my, ummmmm, photos and videos. HAHAHAHAAHAHAHHA. Hmmm. And lots of other private documents as well.

We’ll just hope nothing goes severely wrong. Anyhoos, all my photos are gone so I can only give you those I have in my camera. Will update soon!
