Dinner at Velocity as a family for the first time in many months. I kid you not. It’s been so long since 4 of us actually sat down together for a meal.

Why I’d choose this to Kuishin-Bo anytime is because 1) I prefer ala carte buffet then those sitting on warmers/coolers waiting to be eaten 2) the sashimi is fresh 3) teppanyaki + grilled stuff here is fantastico 4) there are more varieties to choose from

The only downside? No crab Hahahaha. Here are some of the dishes we ate:

Like all any other food places, there are its hits and misses. Chawanmushi isn’t nice (to be fair, the eggy essence is there but it’s just that I don’t know why it’s very tasteless), chilled soba failed, and some squid innards thingy that is so freaking gross but I don’t know why my sister loves it.

Acquired taste perhaps??

HITS! The grilled de-shelled prawn is good (not the one that looks like crayfish – that’s gross), oyster so big and delish, teppanyaki beef + lamb orgasmic, prawn sashimi ohhmygoodness, asparagus salad is very normal but we ordered like 3 plates of it?? Lol.

December 12th ‘08 (Friday)

Morning breakfast to myself again and I try to catch up on my studying. Failed attempt of course, lol.

Waited till 12 before meeting Simba Sam out for lunch and a little, uhmmm, bidet-ing. HORRENDOUS. The jet spray was a little too enthusiastic so much so her dress got soaked as a result.

We now call it the SuperSoaker. Hah.

Did some window shopping before lunching at Soup Spoon; then I took a bus down for a triple-date @ Lot 1! Wah piang, that place really changed a lot. The last time I was there with XYZ I remember it being super lok kok and boring.

Ah Guang and I shared Ya Kun Set B prior to dinner which left us so stuffed we only ordered the Buffalo Wings (which really aren’t wings but whatever) and some Hawaiian chicken chop to share. Okay done!

Good god I’m positively knackered to the bone, hitting the sack in 5ive and I’ll see you when I see you~!
