Malaysia Trip

This is a way over dued entry. Enjoy!

I know if I don’t get down to it, I’ll just pretty much be far too lazy and you can forget about having me to update on the Malaysia Day-Trip. Daddy’s office organized this trip and we dragged the boysies along as well, else if I were to actually spend more than 12 hours with my parents alone, I might just potentially go crazy.

I see more than just 5…
This isn’t our bus by the way.
First stop was at 777, food there was horrible. I don’t understand, people have been telling me JB is full of good makan places and cheap shopping but so far, I’ve seen nothing of that sort!
In fact, EVERYTHING THERE IS EXPENSIVE FOR MALAYSIA STANDARDS! I was hoping to benefit from the currency difference but no such luck.
I mean, one 茶叶蛋 (herbal tea egg) costs RM1? Are you kidding me? Even though that converts to only 50cents SIN$ but for Malaysia standard? Can you imagine if you’re a Malaysian?! One egg cost a freaking dollar!
I think I’ll be so upset

Or maybe then again, they probably brought us to all those "tourist-y" spots. Hahaha. After the short breakfast stopover it felt like another hour to our next trip – YoYo (some place that sells snacks).

Too much sleep = red eye
Bad spelling aside, this place is a total ripoff. One packet of prawn crackers (those normal huge pieces of home-fried "koropok" you can buy from your local "mama" shop) cost RM4 and the Tao Sa Pia (except it’s chestnut filling instead) cost RM15 for one small box.
shakes head
Am I paying extra for the fact that there’s Fann Wong and Christopher Lee’s photo plastered beside the cashier??

Next stop – GOAT FARM; which stank so bad we couldn’t even step up closer to them. It’s like, 3 times more concentrated than the deer section at the Night Safari. HORROR.

Next destination – DURIAN PLANTATION; phreak out yo. PHREAK OUT. I don’t like durian. But after this trip, I liked only ONE kind of durian. Lol, I don’t know which "breed" it is because we got to try "101", "XO", "D24", "Mao Shang Wang" without knowing which is which.

Durain makes the world Singapore go round… as in like, fat kindda round. Hahahaha…… errrr, hahahahahah (nervous laugh because there’s no link)
Next stop: Jusco; which looks so much like Vivocity! The layout of the mall, I swear, is like Vivo. Except this one’s more cram. Oh yes. I was hoping to get good deals there but nooo, none whatsoever. Warehouse, Naf Naf, Mango, Topshop, Esprit, G2K, all these were either more expensive or same price as Singapore. Which is understand-able considering the fact that these international brands cannot possibly compromise their pricing to exchange rates.
Still, it was an unfruitful shopping trip. We only OD-ed on La Senza Hahahaha, Singapore prices are cheaper, but I just HAD to buy something. That’s my biggest weakness.
I’m sure I would have enjoyed it much more if it was free and easy and having someone who knew the local ins-and-outs of Malaysia better
All in all it wasn’t so bad; we had fun times as well!!
haha kl is much better. AND LINGERIE SHOPPING IS LIKE MY BIGGEST WEAKNESS ALSO?
?!
and i can’t resist cute sweater type jackets also and nice tube/spaghetti island shop type dresses and uhm. too many things too little cash hahahaha
